The City of Hartford Unveils New Website for Early Learning Network

In partnership with the City of Hartford’s Department of Families, Children, Youth & Recreation (DFCYR), New Park Creative is proud to announce the launch of the Early Learning Network’s website and multi-platform marketing campaign. The mission of the DFCYR is to ensure the well-being and success of all Hartford families. Supporting areas such as early childhood education, youth development, workforce development, recreation, and other related programs are developed to keep young people on safe and productive paths.

Through this collaboration with New Park Creative, a dynamic website was built and launched to drive clarity amongst families interested in the Early Learning Network’s programs and services. The new website’s improved accessibility makes critical information accessible and facilitates a seamless enrollment process for parents seeking childcare services, supporting the department’s mission to drive engagement and increase utilization.

Early Learning Division consists of 22 community-based organizations that support and educate Hartford’s youngest learners, children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. All enrolled children receive comprehensive development services addressing their needs within the areas of education, health, nutrition, mental health, family well-being, and family engagement. All providers within the network are accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and offer flexible schedules, including part-time, full-day, or full-year care. Designed to support working families within Hartford, tuition for these programs is unique to the individual, taking into account income as a means for qualification.

“There are lots of opportunities available for Hartford families to get their kids into these centers, so we want to make sure that families know about them because it would be a shame for these spots to go unfilled when the need is so great…we are launching an unprecedented marketing campaign and putting resources behind it to get the word out to as many families as we can…you can visit our new website…where you can identify what early learning centers are near you to figure out the most convenient option or you and your family…we all know how important that strong start is to a child’s future…

– Honorable Mayor Luke Bronin

In addition to the website, a strategic marketing campaign launched at the start of November, connecting community members to information via TV commercials, news interviews, billboard ads, bus ads, and various digital and social media ads designed to highlight critical information about the ELN’s offerings. The city’s early childcare programs are affordable and designed to meet the needs of all children in and around Hartford. Their holistic approach to early childhood development and care improves children’s education, nutrition, mental health, and emotional learning. New Park Creative is honored to partner with the DFCYR to emphasize the importance of early childhood intervention, which is essential for a child’s success.

Enrollment in their programs is open and ongoing. All families in Hartford with children ages 0-5 years are eligible to apply and can do so at the newly designed website, www.hartfordearlylearning.com.
